Evan Patton, former resident of Logansport, died at 10:30 o’clock Tuesday night at Indianapolis. While residing in this city he made his home with his sister the late Mrs. Harry Parrott. He was a member of Tipton Lodge F&AM. He is survived by a daughter who resides in South Bend.

Evan C. Patton, 57, veteran of WWI and II, died yesterday in his home, 2939 N. Chester. In WWI, Mr. Patton served in the Marines. In WWII, he served in the Army.  Born at Waveland, Mr. Patton had lived here five years. Four years ago he retired from Allison’s because of impaired health.  Mr. Patton was a member of the Waveland Christian Church and Masonic Lodge at Logansport. Services will be at Bright Funeral Home, Crawfordsville with burial in Masonic Cemetery there. Friends may call tonight at Flanner & Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary here. Survivors are the widow, Corinne Russell Patton; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Pinter (sic) South Bend; three sisters, Irene C. McMillin, Loveland, Colo; Mrs. Joseph Couch, Boise, Idaho and Mrs. Charles Wilson, Nashville, Tenn; here brothers, TJ Patton, Lebanon; Robert D. Patton, Greencastle and Charles S. Patton, Toronto, Canada.
